QuakeCon 2024 is kicking off soon, with multiple exciting reveals already announced for dedicated Doom fans. Enhancements have been made to the original Doom and its sequel, Doom II, and are now freely available for existing owners, though both games are being sold at a discounted price. The most attention-grabbing news though, is the launch of the Doom Anthology, with preorders beginning to roll out on Amazon.
But the Doom Anthology is not the only thrilling news from the franchise. Limited Run Games is working on the release of a physical edition of the first game for Super Nintendo, set to launch in 2025. This edition will come in both standard and collector’s formats and will be accompanied by a poster and instruction booklet.
The upcoming SNES cartridge release from Limited Run for Doom is not yet available for order. However, it will be found on the Limited Run website as soon as it becomes available.
