Atlus has announced the main English voice cast for its upcoming game, Metaphor: ReFantazio, which includes a blend of UK and US talents such as Caleb Yen, Stewart Clarke, and Alejandra Reynoso. Notably, the lead character, the Protagonist, will be voiced by Yen, a departure from previous Atlus games where the main role was typically non-speaking. In addition to this, the character Strohl is voiced by Clarke and the fairy character Gallica is portrayed by Reynoso. The game is set for a global release on October 11 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
The voice cast announcement will be celebrated during the Xbox @ Gamescom 2024 event, where there will be an interview featuring actors Stewart Clarke and Kristin Atherton, the voices behind characters Strohl and Hulkenberg. The event will also feature fresh content from the game and a playable demo available at the Xbox booth all week, launching on the Xbox Series X|S and Windows on October 11, 2024.
Metaphor: ReFantazio is a fresh fantasy RPG from the creative team behind the Persona series. It encourages players to shape their own destiny in an otherworldly world, pushing past fear. As well as the Xbox and PC versions, the game will also be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Steam with both digital and physical pre-orders now open.
