A recent update to the Steam achievements for Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster, reversed on September 10, hints that ATLUS may be planning to release remastered versions of the PlayStation 2 titles Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. The Soulless Army and its sequel. The revised achievements, spotted on SteamDB, reference aspects exclusive to these games, including demon ally Raiho, weapon forging, case files side quests, summoner rank system, and location Konnou-ya.

Several achievement descriptions were changed, implying a connection with elements found in the Devil Summoner series. Notable alterations included ‘Unlocked all achievements’ to ‘Gain Raiho as a demon ally’, ‘Completed the game on HARD’ to ‘Forge all weapons,’ and ‘View all the endings’ to ‘Complete a case file.’ Moreover, the text shifted from ‘Recreated the world as we know it’ to ‘Reach Summoner rank 30’ and ‘Created the world of Musubi’ to ‘Obtain the highest discount at Konnou-ya.’

These updates came just ahead of the Tokyo Game Show 2024, where SEGA and ATLUS have announced three unannounced titles will be showcased. The event is scheduled to run from September 26 to 29 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.
