Datt Japan has made strides forward in the gaming industry with their recent launch of the Nintendo Switch version of the much anticipated ‘Rammy’s Great Adventure I & II Remake’. This commendable achievement follows the accomplishment of bringing the same upon the global digital storefront, Steam, earlier this year.

The revamped version is now available for purchase on the Japanese Nintendo eShop. Priced at 2,800 yen, it is a fantastic addition for ardent fans of the Rammy’s Great Adventure series who have been waiting eagerly for some time now. Meanwhile, the Nintendo Switch addition wraps up the delivery of the promises made on the project’s Campfire crowdfunding page back in November 2024.

Following the success of this deliverable, Datt’s attention is now shifting towards the proposed re-releases of ‘Rammy’s Great Adventure DX’ and ‘Rammy’s Arena’. Unfortunately, during the 2024 crowdfunding campaign, the required stretch goals for their remake were not met.

In order to iron out any confusions, Datt Japan clarified the correct English interpretation of the brand’s name, confirming that the official English name is indeed ‘Rammy’, and not ‘Rummy’ as some fans might have popularly assumed. For a firsthand experience of the latest launch, the Japanese Nintendo eShop page for ‘Rammy’s Great Adventure I & II Remake’ has uploaded new screenshots of the game.

Despite being highly anticipated, as of this writing, both the Nintendo Switch and PC Steam versions of the game are currently only available in Japanese. This leaves English-speaking fans waiting earnestly in hope for an English version release. Datt Japan is yet to make an official statement about this.
