Dark Deity Series Physical Editions Revealed

Super Rare Games has recently made a thrilling announcement for fans of the tactical RPGs, Dark Deity and Dark Deity 2. The prestigious gaming publisher is partnering with Sword & Axe LLC along with indie.io to bring exciting physical editions of the acclaimed games to the global gaming community.

It’s noteworthy that a compelling double pack of Dark Deity 1 & 2 is in the works. This limited edition pack, priced at £37.20, is going to be exclusively available for Nintendo Switch. This package won’t be an ordinary offering, accompanying the games is a vibrant, full-color manual, a unique & exclusive sticker, and a thrilling three-card trading pack that is certain to delight the avid collectors among its fans.

Dark Deity 2 isn’t just coming to the Nintendo platform; a PlayStation 5 edition, priced at £32.40, is slated for release too. This edition is not just the game but a package, showcasing an array of extras what with a stunning interior art piece, an elegant slipcover, a full-color manual, and a Super Rare Games exclusive sticker.

Gaming enthusiasts won’t have to wait long to pre-order these captivating editions. Starting January 22, 2025, these editions will be up for grabs on the Super Rare Games’ official online store and are anticipated to be shipped in March 2026. However, fans will need to act quickly. The Dark Deity 1 & 2 double pack for Nintendo Switch is hitting the shelves with a limited run of just 4,000 copies. Similarly, the PlayStation 5 edition of Dark Deity 2 is also hot and limited, with only 2,000 copies in circulation.

Dark Deity and Dark Deity 2 are renowned for their turn-based tactical combat, doused in considerable inspiration from renown Fire Emblem series. The intriguing storyline transports players to the continent of Verroa. Impressively, Dark Deity 2 unravels 25 years post the original game, offering a fresh experience for the new players and a nostalgic journey for the returning fans.

A little bit of history; Dark Deity debuted on PC in 2021 and was subsequently rolled out for Nintendo Switch in 2022. Meanwhile, Dark Deity 2 gamers were introduced in 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
