Dotemu, the publisher, in collaboration with developers Guard Crush Games and Supamonks, have declared their intentions to release their arcade-style, beat ’em up game, Absolum, onto the Switch 2 platform. The announcement was eagerly anticipated, however, no official release date has been stated as of yet. The game Absolum had its maiden launch on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC via Steam on October 9, 2025. This was promptly followed by a launch on Xbox Series on March 25, 2026.nnFurthermore, Silver Lining Interactive, recognized for releasing PlayStation 5 and Switch physical editions previously, has confirmed they will release a physical edition of Absolum for Switch 2. This will contain the entire game on the game card and is slated for release in Q3 of 2026.
