Gaming News That is Awesome and Radical

  • Opoona Preview

I like how he has to keep up with a T.V. drama about a stray cat. I’m totally wanting this game. I also found it interesting that the Final Fantasy XII guy is doing the music for Opoona, too.

  • Gametrailers TV – Left 4 Dead is Awesome and Radical

After watching this I really want to get Left 4 Dead. Co-op FPS killing tons of zombies, you really can’t go wrong. I don’t know if I could trust Robert to watch my back with zombies around though, you just never know with that guy. The Lego Batman trailer looks interesting, too.

  • Nippon no Asoko de

I’m genuinely intrigued after watching this trailer, mostly because I really can’t begin to guess what the game is about. Reminds me a little of Simcity mixed with aliens flying around.

  • Valkyrie of the Battlefield

The PS3 is getting all kinds of tactical RPG’s this year. Valkyrie of the Battlefield, developed by Sega, features a unique turn-based battle system called BLiTZ (Battle of Live Tactical Zones). The game seems to feature a mix of term based play as well as real time action. You can control individual units movements and…

  • Disgaea 3 North America Release Date Announced

NIS America sent out a press release this week confirming Disgaea 3 will hit North American PS3’s this August. Disgaea was pretty radical and so was Disgaea 2. I can only assume that Disgaea 3 will be more of the same, which is a good thing. There seem to be a lot of complaints about…

  • Rocketmen: Axis of Evil

So, I got this email from Capcom stating that the long-awaited Rocketmen: Axis of Evil will be released on XBLA and the PSN. 800 points on LIVE, $10 on PSN. But, I’ve never heard of this long awaited game…

  • Okami on Wii

The game looks really nice running on the Wii. Also, it runs in full 16:9 mode, which doesn’t matter to me but might be a selling point for a lot of others out there. I think I might even pick up the game again. Maybe, just maybe, I’ll actually finish it this time, too. Why…

  • Street Fighter IV AOU Trailer

A new trailer for Street Fighter IV has emerged from the AOU 2008 Amusement Expo in Japan. The trailer shows off moves from returning characters Chun-Li, Guile, Dhalsim, E. Honda, Zangief, and Blanka, as well as new characters Viper and Abel. Looks pretty interesting. Chun-Li has some giant thighs.

  • Metal Gear Solid 4 PS3 Bundle Box Of Awesomeness

I’m wanting to get one, now more then ever. I’m not really sure why I want one now more then ever, but I do. And yes, they are backwards compatible Robert (some what). I wonder how much the bundle will cost.

  • Lost Planet Ships For PS3

Just in case you have a PS3 and not a 360, or chose not to get it for the 360, now is your chance to get Lost Planet. I never played Lost Planet, but it seems radical enough. Shooting stuff and running around in snow and what not. THE ULTIMATE COOL: LOST PLANET: EXTREME CONDITION…

  • Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World

IGN has a nice preview up for Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World. Dawn of the New World is a sequel to the original Tales of Symphonia for the GCN. It’s set two years after the events of the original. Something has gone wrong with the unification of the worlds. There should be…

  • Gametrailers.com Top 10 Games For 2008

I don’t know if I necessarily agree with their choices for the top ten, but it’s still a nice list of big games for 2008. I also think I’d be more pumped about some of the PS3 releases if I actually had a PS3.
