Famitsu, a Japanese magazine, recently published aspirations for 2024 from 163 game developers, one of them being Shinjiro Takata, the product manager at the Atlus 1st Production division. Takata is currently working on the anticipated game Unicorn Overlord, which is set to release on March 8, 2024, for platforms including PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch. Aside from that, he hinted at additional game projects in the pipeline at Atlus.
Takata’s plans for 2024 involve not only the release of the upcoming Unicorn Overlord and another yet-unnamed title but also setting up projects for future years. With the ethos of “running full-speed ahead” and “preparation for the future”, he aims to continue innovating in the gaming industry at his current pace.
Meanwhile, Takata continues his role as a production collaborator on the development of Unicorn Overlord, an eagerly awaited game from Vanillaware. Despite his involvement in potential future projects, the release of Unicorn Overlord remains his main focus as it launches in March 2024.
