Keiji Inafune Pledges to Release Fantasy Life i by Summer 2024

During Famitsu’s 2024 New Year Greetings column, Keiji Inafune, the producer of Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time, proclaimed his dedication to improving the game’s quality for the Summer 2024 release. Famitsu also shared Inafune’s 2024 aspirations of “explosion,” symbolizing his desire for continual personal evolution and growth. Originally unveiled in February 2023 for Nintendo Switch, the game’s release was subsequently postponed to 2024, as announced by Level-5 in November 2023.

Level-5 later confirmed Summer 2024 as the updated release time frame during the Level-5 Vision 2023 II Showcase. The said event also provided glimpses of specific quality-of-life improvements that Fantasy Life i will offer. Among these enhancements are better mobility, job-switching flexibility, and advanced room customization options compared to its predecessor.

Keiji Inafune, notable for his contribution to hit franchises such as Mega Man, Resident Evil, and Azure Striker Gunvolt, will be actively involved in the upcoming Fantasy Life i. Slated for a global release, Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time will be available on Nintendo Switch in Summer 2024.
