Square Enix is commemorating the 10th anniversary of FINAL FANTASY XIV with a 14-hour live broadcast on April 12, 2024. The festive broadcast promises to engage both seasoned veterans and newcomers, celebrating the enduring success of the MMORPG with exclusive insights, round-table discussions with the development team, and a special performance from THE PRIMALS, the band renowned for their renditions of the game’s soundtrack. In addition, a sneak peek into the future of the FINAL FANTASY XIV Tabletop Role-Playing Game will also be included in the grand spectacle.
Naoki Yoshida, the revered producer and director of the game, will provide a particularly captivating segment with an in-game tour, offering a unique perspective on the world of FINAL FANTASY XIV, demonstrating the game’s depth and scale. A round-table discussion with the development team will reveal the creative process and collaborative spirit behind the game. Meanwhile, THE PRIMALS will add a musical dimension to the celebration with a special talk segment and distinct performances.
The broadcast is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m. PDT with accommodation for global timings. Although the primary language is Japanese, the diversity and profound storytelling of FINAL FANTASY XIV are expected to transcend linguistic differences.
