Playing Final Fantasy 14, players collect a certain currency called Allagan Tomestones of Poetics. This currency is capped at 2000 and can be spent in various ways rather than being let go to waste. The accumulation of Poetics is common amongst players above level 50, which may not generate millions in gil profit, but Poetics can be used for purchasing previous expansion’s items and for other valuable personal uses.
To spend your Poetics, they can be traded at any expansion’s hub town such as Mor Dhona and Idyllshire. Rowena’s Representative vendors sell items up to the Stormblood expansion thereby saving the player a trip to these towns. However, items from the Shadowbringers expansion will require a trip to Eulmore. Rowena’s Representative NPC allows the purchase of leveling gear for combat jobs such as Augmented Ironworks and Augmented Shire gear as well as relic weapon materials.
Players can stock up on numerous items if planning on backtracking relic weapons. Orchestrions are also available from Rowena’s Representative for varying prices if the player is interested in game music collection. If all combat jobs are at their maximum level and the need for Cryptlurker gear is no longer viable, players can purchase it and trade it to their Grand Company for company seals. Despite the quantity of gear needed, purchasing rings is recommended as they provide considerable benefits.
