Remedy Entertainment has disclosed that the first DLC expansion for Alan Wake 2, titled Night Springs, will be released on all platforms on June 8, 2024. A physical edition of the game is also planned, including a collector’s edition to be launched in Fall 2024. This Night Springs expansion featuring three new chapters lets players assume the roles of popular characters Rose, Sheriff Tim Breaker, and Control’s protagonist Jesse Faden, with each chapter demonstrating distinct styles and unique game mechanics.
On December 11, 2023, Alan Wake 2 had received a complimentary update containing a New Game Plus mode, enabling players to replay the game with all the existing weapons and upgrades. The new mode also incorporated minor narrative modifications. Alan Wake 2, which is readily available on the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC via the Epic Games Store, will have its Night Springs DLC released on June 8, 2024, with physical and collector’s editions expected to follow in Fall 2024.
