The official Twitter account for Elden Ring recently previewed a forthcoming patch expected to drop on June 20, ahead of the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC release. This update will include several user-friendly features and new character hairstyles. One unique addition is a marker for newly-acquired items, accompanied by a “recent items” tab in the inventory, streamlining the process of tracking relevant lore amidst expansive inventory lists. Summoning Pools, small effigies used for battle participation at varying locations will remain active in journeying into NG+. Players will also have the ability to deactivate select summoning pools via their maps, offering more control over the zones where they wish to be summoned using the Small Golden Effigy.

In addition to functional enhancements, the patch introduces five new hairstyles in the game. Players can select these by using the Clouded Mirror in the Roundtable Hold, choosing Rebirth at Rennala with a Larval Tear, or upon creating a new character. The exact specifications of these new hairstyles have not been clarified, but they are expected to add more depth to character customization.

As the release of Shadow of the Erdtree approaches, players are advised to make necessary preparations, especially against challenging opponents. Elden Ring confirmed that it is prepared to assist players in dealing with adversaries such as Mohg, Lord of Blood.
