Virtual Console Update – Mega Man 9, Vectorman, and Super Dodge Ball
This weeks Virtual Console and WiiWare update is a good one, with three great games coming out. Vectorman, in particular, was one of my favorites on the Genesis. It’s also the main reason I don’t feel bad littering: In 2049, the human population of Earth embarks on a migratory voyage to try and colonize other…

Virual Console Update – Super Mario RPG, Clu Clu Land
Wow, this one came out of no where. This week’s Virtual Console update includes one of the most awesome, radical games in the universe, Super Mario RPG. Any one who doesn’t have this game should buy it immediately (or whenever they have some spare time). It is, in my opinion, the best Mario RPG game…

U.S. to Get Chrono Trigger DS Before Japan?
The good news is that North America gets Chrono Trigger DS on November 25th, two whole days before Japan gets it on the 27th. The bad news is, in Japan, they get “CHRONO TRIGGER ORCHESTRA EXTRA SOUNDTRACKS” when pre-ordering the game. The CD contains two tracks, “Chrono Trigger Orchestral Version” and “Chrono Trigger Orchestral Medley.”…

Nintendo’s E3 Press Conference Overview
Overall I was extremely disappointed…there really wasn’t anything announced for the Wii and DS that I need to get. Animal Crossing is cool and everything, but it’s not on the same level as a new Mario/Metroid/Zelda/etc. game. 3rd Party Games Wii – Star Wars The Clone Wars – Use Wiimote like a light saber. Coming…

Captain Rainbow
It looks weird, so I’m interested and it’s being developed by Skip Ltd., who made Giftpia, this weird Gamecube game that I imported and tried to play even though I know absolutely no Japanese whatsoever. It would have been cool, though, the premise of the game was you overslept for your coming of age ceremony…

Wario Land: Shake It!
I’m seriously all for 2D gaming making a comeback. These animations seem awesome, I just feel like when it comes to 2D there is a higher level of detail involved in the games. I’ll definitely be picking this one up, I never actually played any of the Wario games (except for one on the Gameboy…

Fire Emblem DS Screenshots
Just a few screen shots for the upcoming Fire Emblem DS, including the box art. The game is a remake of the original Fire Emblem, Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragons and the Blade of Light, with enhanced graphics and online play over WiFi, making it way more awesomer. There’s no word yet if it’s coming to…

ASH: Archaic Sealed Heat Coming to U.S.
Archaic Sealed Heat, it had everything going for it, awesome graphics and it’s a Hironobu Sakaguchi produced RPG, but it only sold about 50,000 copies in Japan (50,000 doesn’t seem that bad…but, I guess that’s bad nowadays). What’s your problem, Japan? I mean seriously, dick move guys. Anyway, the ESRB has given ASH an E10+…

Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia Announced (DS)
Konami officially announced the next Castlevania game last night during their Gamer’s Night ’08 in San Francisco. Dracula is back again, but this time years after the Belmont family has disappeared. The lead character, Shenoa, is a female, which is a first (technically second I think, the other game with a female character was removed…
